What great memories! The Cook Islands have definitely found a permanent place in my heart.

I would like to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt thanks for the opportunity to travel to the Cook Islands on May 17-23rd with Air New Zealand and the Cook Islands Tourism Corporation. Both yourself and Laura Matar showed your considerable talents and energy to ensure a memorable few days for all the participants able to travel to this somewhat remote area of the world.
Much of the feedback I received from the other agents from both Canada and the US was very positive including unsolicited praise for the high standards set by both Air New Zealand and the ground operations and hotels in Rarotonga. I am sure that this trip will be remembered for many things, not the least of which were the friendliest people imaginable, an easy and accessible destination, and the variety of information and activities offered to us which leads to a lasting and positive experience.
As you know all too well, the reputation of a destination goes well beyond postcards and sunsets and I would like to take a moment to express my appreciation for all that I have learned. The camaraderie that I felt begin to grow each day meeting the local people, conversations with fellow professionals and a sense of privilege for exotic circumstances. Every day was a new adventure and before we knew it, it was sadly over and we were standing wistfully at the airport headed back to Los Angeles. I will take with me much more than pictures from this trip.
I’ll conclude by again passing along my sincere thanks to both organizations for considering agents in their marketing efforts. It enhances our ability to sell your product. It was nice to meet both yourself and Laura and become immersed in the Cooks! Here’s wishing you the very best for the balance of 2009 on into 2010.

When we got on the plane at LAX, I knew it was going to be a treat. Extra leg room and great food are hard to beat.
Then we arrived in Rarotonga at dawn and a truly spectacular sunrise. The Cook Islands are better than any of us could imagine. Clean air, clear water, wonderful accommodations, beautiful beaches, and fabulous meals. Then there are the people - nice, friendly and smart. What a combination!
From Chattanooga, its a long way to go, but it is worth every bit of the time it takes. the Cooks are truly an Island Paradise.
