If my client loses his/her paper ticket, what should I advise him/her?

If your client loses his or her ticket prior to travel, you will have to fill out a Lost Ticket Indemnity and issue a new ticket against the LTI form. There is a $75.00USD processing fee ($100CAD for Canada). The original ticket is then void and can not be used.

If your client loses his or her paper ticket while en route, please contact your Air New Zealand sales representative with all the ticketing information and Air New Zealand will reissue the ticket against the LTI form and charge the passenger a $75.00USD processing fee ($100CAD for Canada).

Do you offer travel agent special fares?

YES. Air New Zealand offers Travel Agent Specials for travel from North America to our international destinations.

Air New Zealand’s Travel Agent Special fare allows one travelling companion of your choice to travel with you at the same low fare as you receive. Due to the low fares offered in each cabin (Business Premier and Pacific Economy Class), we can not offer upgrade.

What Fare Basis/Booking Class do I use for the AMEX 2 for 1 Program?

Fare Basis Codes:
C3/C3OW fares from LAX/SFO/HNL to the South Pacific
C3C/C3COW fares from YVR to New Zealand
C3CA/C3CAOW fares from YVR to Australia
C3/C3OW fare from LAX to LON
These fare basis codes are applicable to both the revenue passenger (Platinum/Centurion member) and the free companion.

Booking Codes:
“D” for Business Premier or Business Class
“U” for Premium Economy Class (“Y” for Economy Class for those sectors where “D” Class is not offered)

My client wants to use UA mileage to purchase ticket and / or to use UA mileage to upgrade the ticket on NZ, what can you do?

Your clients may use their UA miles to purchase a ticket on Air New Zealand, and they may use their miles to upgrade cabins on Air New Zealand.

Please contact UA Mileage Plus to make arrangements. They handle all aspects of the booking.
